Some
households are situated at places with low water pressures affecting greatly
the water supply in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. This problem may be a
result of low water supply from the water provider, plumbing disorders, or the
type of shower head you are using in bathroom cases.
Low water
pressure, especially during shower time is pretty much annoying because it is
inefficient in washing and rinsing your body. Although there are regulations
that are being followed by shower head manufacturers so that the water flow are
regulated according to standards, still science enabled a technology that
brings satisfying shower quality and maximum water pressure even with low water
pressures.
WHAT ARE HIGH PRESSURE SHOWER HEADS?
A
high-pressure shower head is a type of shower head that provides greater water
pressure with the same, exact amount of water flow that regular shower heads
give. It is not the type that deviates from the standard regulations for shower
head’s water flow by cheating the flow restrictor and stealing huge amounts of
water, but it provides higher water pressure because of the installed pressure
chamber or changeable spray settings inside. The adjustable spray settings enable the shower head to compress water
for a stronger water flow while the pressure chamber performs the
combination of air and pressure to the water in order to push the shower water
out at a higher pressure.
THINGS TO
CONSIDER BEFORE PURCHASING THIS TYPE:
1.
Check the pressure design and quality. You have to consider
the pressure design feature if it is using the adjustable spray settings or a
pressure chamber. Most reviews prefer pressure chambers because it is more
likely to produce more power in water spraying. Also, make sure of the quality
of the shower head that is cost-effective and durable so that it will last
longer.
2.
Check the rate of water flow. High-pressure shower heads come in
different variety thus not having the same water flow rate. Check how many
gallons per minute it can provide to give you a satisfying water flow and
pressure.
3.
Check the size. If you are really situated in
areas that have low water pressure, you can try the shower heads with narrow
sizes because it has smaller water sprays but with powerful pressures.
